Large thick pieces were used for this piece. The eyes are the reverse side of puzzle pieces and the hair was made by hammering holes into each piece and stringing wire through them and bolting the strands onto the board.
Painted blue board is float mounted atop painted found flashing which 'floats 1/2" from wall.
